Gold for St Georges

Leading North Wales Hotel, St Georges Hotel has just been awarded the prestigious Gold Award from Visit Wales following a rigorous series of mystery visits and assessments by independent inspectors.

The stunning four-star hotel is now in the top 3% of all hotels in Wales which have been graded by Visit Wales and is one of only 13 hotels to have achieved the standard this year.

After a major refurbishment all 75 rooms have been beautifully decorated with air-conditioning, high speed internet access and many with balcony access and stunning views across the bay of Llandudno.

The hotel has a variety of dining options to suit all tastes including the AA Rosette winning Terrace Restaurant, serving a mouth watering selection of dishes sourced within Conwy and North Wales. Service is King

Here at St Georges Hotel in Llandudno we always pride ourselves on providing a first class level of customer service and our discerning guests always desire the best when staying at North Wales Premier 4 star hotel.
A case to clarify our commitment to providing excellent customer service happened very recently.
A guest who had been staying at St Georges unfortunately misread the time her morning train was leaving for London, not wanting to miss the train we immediately called her a taxi to get her to the station on time.
The taxi promptly arrived and whisked her off to catch the train, but just as the taxi sped off the restaurant staff realised the guest hadn't had chance to enjoy her morning coffee, juice and lightly poached eggs.
Without any thought for their own safety or level of fitness two members of the Terrace Restaurant team ran off with her breakfast in order to get to the train station to set up her meal on the 0912 Virgin Train before she arrived.
Such are the skills and intellect of the restaurant team they even organised the No. 26 train station permit before setting off in order to save time when arriving at the station to set up the breakfast.
Sadly they both arrived 15 minutes late and the train had already left, but its the commitment and dedication to providing quality service that is the most important fact here.
